      Key Point: Your data stays local. We do not collect, store, or transmit prospect objections, generated responses, or any sales conversation data to our servers.

2.1 Data Stored Locally (On Your Device)

The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and never leaves your device:

User Settings: Your AI provider preference, API key (encrypted), and response preferences
Company Profile: Your product/service description for context
Response History: Previously generated objection responses (stored for your reference)
Custom Playbooks: Saved objection handling strategies
License Information: Your license key and validation status
Usage Counters: Daily response count (for free tier limits)

2.2 Data Sent to Third-Party AI Providers

When you generate a response, the following data is sent directly to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic):

The objection text you input or select
Your company/product context
Response tone and strategy preferences

Important: This data is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider using your own API key. It does not pass through our servers.

2.3 Data Sent to Startvest Servers

The only data sent to our servers is:

License Validation: Your license key (sent to verify validity and retrieve tier limits)

We do NOT collect or receive: objection content, generated responses, prospect data, or AI provider API keys.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we receive for:

License Validation: Verifying your license key is valid and active
Tier Enforcement: Determining which features you have access to based on your license tier
Customer Support: Helping you if you contact us with issues

4. Permissions Explained

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

activeTab: Grants temporary access to read selected text when you click the extension.
storage: To save your settings, playbooks, and history locally.
contextMenus: To add right-click options for handling selected objection text.

4.1 What We Do NOT Access

Your CRM data: We don't integrate with or access CRM systems.
Email accounts: We cannot read your email conversations.
Browsing history: We cannot see what sites you visit.

All data stored locally uses Chrome's secure storage API
API communications use HTTPS encryption
Your AI provider API key is stored locally and never transmitted to our servers
